Dr. Julia A. Smith Memorial Scholarship Fund
The Dr. Julia A. Smith Memorial Scholarship Fund provides access to postsecondary education for talented, motivated students who may otherwise not pursue college careers due to personal challenges or systemic barriers.
Support Programs
An intrinsic component of our scholarship program is the benevolence of award recipients; giving back in ways they feel are most beneficial to those in need. Recipients are encouraged to identify opportunities for community outreach and support, and actively participate in organizing and providing assistance where it is needed most.
In addition to instilling the importance of community involvement and fostering a sense of purpose and belonging among scholarship program recipients, participants also receive additional support they may need through mentor programs, programs to improve life skills, and peer-to-peer social support.
